Grilamid® 1SBVX-50H LDS Black

Grilamid® 1SBVX-50H LDS Black is an impact modified and light stabilized polyamide 10-10 (PA 10-10) grade reinforced with 50% glass fiber. Is produced by poly-condensation of decanediamine and sebacic acid obtained from the renewable bio raw material castor oil. Is based on nearly 100% of renewable raw materials. Is a paintable, platable grade and a direct bio-alternative to PA 12. Possesses high stiffness and strength combined with high toughness, high dimensional stability, excellent surface finish, improved flowability and de-molding. Provides easy processability, low moisture absorption, very low water absorption, outstanding chemical and weathering resistance. This grade is specifically optimized for the Laser Direct Structuring technology of LPKF (LPKF-LDS®). Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Enables selective plating and the creation of electric/ electronic circuits on three dimensional injection-molded carriers. Used in automotive applications like powertrain and chassis, electrical and electronics applications like thin-walled housings/ parts, lighting, mobile phones and other portable devices (telecommunication) and in medical devices. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
