Grilamid® 2S 20 Natural

Grilamid® 2S 20 Natural is a medium viscosity polyamide 6-10 (PA 6-10) grade. Is produced by poly-condensation of hexamethylene diamine (obtained from crude oil) and sebacic acid (obtained from the renewable bio raw material castor oil). Is based on 62% of renewable raw materials. Is a bio-alternative to PA 12 and ductile (resilient in conditioned stage) grade. Possesses high strength, low moisture absorption, low density and good chemical and weathering resistance. Provides moderate water absorption and good dimensional stability compared to PA6 or PA66 and easy processability. Is suitable for processing by cast film extrusion and injection molding. Used in Injection molded functional parts, bushes, gears, housewares and consumer goods, semi-fabricates such as tubes, film, sheet & profiles, sheathing and guides and in mechanical tools & accessories. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
