Grilamid® XE 4010

Grilamid® XE 4010 is an amorphous, cycloaliphatic polyamide 10-10 (PA 10-10) grade by EMS-Grivory (EMS Group). It is a lubricated and impact modified grade. It is produced by monomers obtained through chemical processes from the renewable raw material castor oil and is based on 58% renewable resources. Provides high fatigue strength, high toughness, high gloss and low density. Offers resistance to boiling water, chemicals, solvents, stress cracking, weathering and hydrolysis. Suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. Used in automotive applications like compressed air- and fuel systems, electrical appliances, equipment and connectors. Other applications inlcude energy distribution, lighting, mobile phones and portable devices. Grilamid® XE 4010 is suitable for housewares, consumer goods, medical devices and spectacle frames. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
