Grilamid® XE 4176 Black 9288 is an impact modified, light and heat stabilized polyamide 10-10 (PA 10-10) grade reinforced with 50% glass fiber. Is produced by monomers obtained through chemical processes from the renewable raw material castor oil. Possesses low water absorption, good toughness, good UV- and chemical resistance and easy processability. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in automotive applications like compressed air-, hydraulic- and fuel systems, powertrain and chassis, medical devices, electrical appliances, lighting, connectors, and in housewares & consumer good applications like hydraulics & pneumatics, power transmission, sports & leisure and engineering tools. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
