Grilamid® XE 4180 Black 9992

Grilamid® XE 4180 Black 9992 is an impact modified, light and heat stabilized polyamide 10-10 (PA 10-10) grade. Is produced by monomers obtained through chemical processes from the renewable raw material castor oil and is a direct bio-alternative to PA 12. Possesses low water absorption, good UV and heat resistance, easy processability, improved flow and de-molding. Exhibits high flexibility, high elongation, good cold impact resistance, excellent chemical-, zinc-chloride- and automotive fluids resistance. Is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. Used in automotive applications like compressed air-, hydraulic- and fuel systems, powertrain and chassis, medical devices, electrical appliances, lighting, connectors, lighting, mobile phones and other portable devices and in housewares & consumer good applications like hydraulics & pneumatics, power transmission, sports & leisure and engineering tools. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
