Grilamid® XE 4181 Black 9992 is a high viscosity, plasticized and impact modified polyamide 10-10 (PA 10-10) grade. Is produced by monomers obtained through chemical processes from the renewable raw material castor oil and is a direct bio-alternative to PA 12. Possesses low water absorption, good UV and heat resistance and easy processability. Exhibits high flexibility, high elongation, good cold impact resistance, excellent chemical-, zinc-chloride- and automotive fluids resistance. Is suitable for processing by extrusion. Used in automotive applications like air intake-, compressed air-, hydraulic- and fuel systems, cables & tubes and in consumer good applications like hydraulics & pneumatics. Complies with REACH, RoHS and WEEE.
