TECAPET® Black by Ensinger is an easily polishable, weldable & bondable polyethylene terephthalate (PET) grade. Exhibits good slide & wear properties, very high strength, good machinability, high toughness, and good chemical resistance. Shows very low creep resistance, low moisture absorption, very high dimensional stability, high rigidity & hardness, low sliding friction, resistant to weathering & hydrolysis (up to +70 °C), and good adhesion. TECAPET® Black applications include mechanical engineering, automotive industry, precision engineering, electrical engineering, food engineering and conveyor technology.
