Bio-Flex® FX 1120

Bio-Flex® FX 1120 by FKuR is a biodegradable, compostable blend of polylactic acid (PLA) and co-polyester. The biobased carbon content (BCC) is 50% (determined according to ASTM D6866). Exhibits puncture resistance, increased water resistance and a high moisture retention. Possesses a maximum thickness of 112 μm. Is suitable for processing by blown film extrusion. Used in waste bags or T-Shirt bags. Bio-Flex® FX 1120 complies with EN 13432 and meets the requirements of the German Bio-waste Ordinance. Suitable for food contact applications. Is previously known as V 141105.
