15% QUARTZ

15% QUARTZ by Fluorseals is a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) grade, containing 85% virgin PTFE and 15% quartz. Exhibits improved compression- , wear- and aging resistance, excellent chemical stability and better thermal conductivity. Is an electrically insulating and non-inflammable grade, offering biocompatibility and good heat insulation. 15% QUARTZ is most commonly used filler for dynamic seal applications where both rotating and alternating movements are involved, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical parts.
