Formolene® FORMAX® L71709 E2

Formolene® FORMAX® L71709 E2 is a high strength Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE)-Hexene Copolymer grade made using gas-phase technology. Contains an antiblock agent, a slip agent and special talc-based additives. Films made using Formolene® FORMAX® L71709 E2 exhibit good mechanical properties like excellent impact strength, tear resistance, and tensile elongation for puncture resistance, improved surface performance for printability, good optical properties and improved sealing performance over a wide range of temperatures. Formolene® FORMAX® L71709 E2 is suitable for processing by extrusion and offers easy processability with better bubble stability. Suggested applications include cast stretch films, industrial packaging, can liners, heavy duty bags, consumer trash bags and industrial liners. This grade meets all requirements of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration as specified in 21 CFR 177.1520, covering safe use of polyolefin articles intended for direct food contact.
