GEHR PE-UHMW®

GEHR PE-UHMW® is a low density, ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) grade by GEHR. Exhibits high toughness even at low temperature, high chemical resistance, high elongation, very low water absorption, low steam permeability and high abrasion resistance. Offers good protection against stress cracking, soft surface, low tensile strength, weather resistance (except natural color) and very good electrical & dielectric properties. Is food safe and is not recommended for HF welding. GEHR PE-UHMW® is used in pumps, valve parts, gaskets, glide profiles and food industry parts. Complies with EEC, FDA and UL 94 HB flame rating.
