Terratek® BD1216

Terratek® BD1216 by Green Dot Bioplastics is a starch-based, biodegradable polyester. It possesses heat resistance, rigidity, pliability, strength and lower processing temperatures. It leads to energy savings and easy processing and taking on desired shape & color characteristics. This grade is tolerant to heat conditions ranging from moderate to high. It is a proprietary blend of bio-fillers, natural and synthetic polymers. It is made with ingredients which pass industry standards for composting. Terratek® BD1216 can be processed by injection molding. It is used in food packaging, disposable cutlery, single-use items, organic waste containers, gardening & other agricultural applications, plant pots and mulch films. It contains 60% by weight biomass content.
