HM10® HD

HM10® HD by Heritage Plastics is a linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) grade reinforced with 81% (1 micron) high purity, fine particle size calcium carbonate in a HDPE carrier. Offers improved production rates, low energy consumption and reduced environmental footprint of the final film. It is robust, cost effective, heavy metal free and insoluble in water. Is suitable for processing by blown film extrusion, thermoformed sheet extrusion, injection molding and blow molding. Suitable applications include institutional liners, t-shirt bags, consumer trash bags and shopping bags. Recommended for maintaining HDPE film stiffness, particularly at high input level of >20% by weight. HM10® HD by Heritage Plastics is approved for use in direct food contact packaging and complies with California Proposition 65, EPA TSCA Inventory & CONEG regulations.
