InChemRez Hydroxy-Purge 8C by Inchem is a tough, ductile, amorphous thermoplastic organic resin alloyed with inert minerals. It is designed to efficiently and effectively clean conventional reciprocating screw molding systems. Exhibits excellent thermal stability and wetting characteristics. Offers a light to intermediate level of scrubbing for use at temperatures between 350°F and 560°F. Is suitable for processing by extrusion and injection molding. InChemRez Hydroxy-Purge 8C complies with FDA 21CFR175.300 for coatings, 21CFR175.105 for adhesives, 21CFR177.2280 for and articles intended for producing, manufacturing, packing, processing, preparing, treating, packaging, transporting and holding food. Also meets with FDA 21CFR182.2727, i.e., Generally Recognized As Safe (GRAS) for direct and indirect food contact.
