Isoflon VIRGIN PTFE

Isoflon VIRGIN PTFE is a polytetrafluorethylene (PTFE) grade by Isoflon. Exhibits improved compression-, high & low temperature-, wear-, weather-, electric arcs-, chemical- and solvent resistance. Provides excellent chemical stability, high surface resistivity, very low electric losses and better thermal conductivity. Shows good heat & electrical insulation, extremely low coefficient of friction, non-wettable surface and no moisture absorption. Is anti-adhesive, physiologically inert and innocuous for food. It is attacked by elemental alkali metals, chlorine trifluoride and elemental fluorine at high temperature and pressures. Possible applications include skived tapes. Isoflon VIRGIN PTFE complies with UL 94 VE-O flame rated.
