Ecomp® 180

Ecomp® 180 by Kafrit Group is a plasticized, compostable & biodegradable polylactic acid (PLA)-based compound. It contains antioxidants and 75% renewable resources. Exhibits easy processing, good weldability, excellent mechanical properties and good printability. It can be processed using conventional blown and cast film extrusion equipment with only minor process parameter changes, namely reduced temperature and controlled screw speed. Ecomp® 180 is recommended for the production of transparent films of 12 μm up to 100 μm thickness. Complies with EN 13432, ASTM D6400-04, ISO 17088 and the Japanese green PLA Standard.
