KEPAMID® 1340GM8

KEPAMID® 1340GM8 by KEP is a Polyamide 6 (PA6) grade reinforced with glass-, 40% mineral fibers. Offers thermal properties with long term heat resistance between 80°C and 140°C. Possesses strong mechanical properties, impact strength and low warpage. Exhibits relatively high moisture absorption rate, self-extinguishing characteristics, chemical and oil resistance. Provides good friction and easy processablity. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. Used in automotive applications like wheel cover, appliances like top lower cover of electric pressure cooker, center cap, electrical & electronics and industrial parts. KEPAMID® 1340GM8 is a RoHS-compliant grade.
