KEPITAL® ST-30 is a super toughened polyacetal copolymer grade. Exhibits physical properties, fatigue resistance, resistance to creep, resistance to friction & wear, wide range of working temperature, high tolerance to organic chemicals & alkalis, long-term dimensional stability, excellent fuel resistance, better flow enabling high speed production and better thermal stability than acetal homopolymer. Ensures low deposit on mold surface during processing. Offers highest impact strength and highest Shore values and hence bridges gap between POM and thermoplastic polyester elastomers (TPEE), for which they may be a valuable alternative, depending on the grade. KEPITAL® ST-30 can be processed using injection molding and extrusion. Suitable for components requiring impact strength, robustness, resistance and low-noise properties, such as fasteners, buckles, conveying systems, spring elements and seals.
