THERMOLAST® K TC5MUZ by Kraiburg is thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) compound for automotive exterior applications. It exhibits excellent surfaces, high weather resistance and outstanding adhesion to plastics. It shows excellent peeling resistance in hard-soft combinations with ASA, ABS, PMMA and PC in accordance with the VDI 2019 standard. It provides optimized flow and mechanical properties. It is characterized by wide processing window at processing temperature up to 250°C. It possesses high color stability and high resistance to shear rates. THERMOLAST® K TC5MUZ is recommended for polycarbonate window encapsulations, pillar covers, frames, door sill panels, side mirror mountings and brake light frames. It is designed for roof rim covers, water deflectors, trunk openers, front triangles, A/B/C/D cappings and covers and rear spoilers.
