KURARAY POVAL™ 18-88 S2 by Kuraray is a water soluble, polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade with uniform chemical structure. Exhibits good cohesion and good adhesion to fiber, fillers and pigments. It is manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. KURARAY POVAL™ 18-88 S2 is recommended for the modification of emulsion adhesives, protective colloid emulsion for polymerization and raw material for PVOH film. KURARAY POVAL™ 18-88 S2 has a shelf life of 12 months.
