KURARAY POVAL™ 200-88 KX SB by Kuraray is polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It is used as a stabilizer for the emulsion polymerization of VAM and as a post additive for emulsion. The emulsion with PVOH provides high viscosity, mechanical stability, film strength and heat resistance. It exhibits good water solubility. KURARAY POVAL™ 200-88 KX SB is recommended for use in modification of emulsion-, production of paper-, and remoistenable adhesives. It can be used as protective colloid in emulsion polymerization and raw material for the production of sizes and textile finishes. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation. Its shelf life is 12 months.
