KURARAY POVAL™ 28-99 by Kuraray is a water-soluble, fully saponified polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It possesses excellent film characteristics like high cohesion & toughness, low electrostatic charging and re-dissolving capacity of the dried film in water. It is suitable as emulsion polymerization aid to binder in paper applications. A binder in textile sizes is based on its good penetration capacity and good adhesion properties on all types of fibrous material. KURARAY POVAL™ 28-99 can be stored for 12 months from the shipment date.
