KURARAY POVAL 8-88 S2 by Kuraray is a water soluble polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) having a uniform chemical structure and greater adhesion. Used as an emulsion polymerization aid. It is manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It influences the rheology of polymer emulsions including particle size distribution, viscosity, stability to stirring, freeze/ thaw stability, pigment compatibility and electrolyte stability. Shelf life of KURARAY POVAL 8-88 S2 is 12 months.
