KURARAY POVAL™ L-11 by Kuraray is polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH) grade. It possesses high tensile strength, excellent film-forming properties and elasticity. It shows very good dispersing power and resistance against organic solvent. This grade is water-soluble polymer manufactured by alcoholysis of polyvinyl acetate. It can be used in wide range of applications such as textile, construction, ceramics, packaging and electronics. It is used as an adhesive promoter. It is suitable for modification of emulsion adhesives and remoistenable adhesives in the paper processing industry. Aqueous solution of KURARAY POVAL™ L-11 can be added to polymer emulsion which is already stabilized with polyvinyl alcohol to extend the open time, increase setting speed and influence the rheology. Complies with EU Directive 67/548/EC regulation. The recommended shelf life is 12 months.
