PVA 1492 by Liwei chemical (Sinochem) is non-ionic linear, polyvinyl alcohol high polymer grade. It is non-toxic, non-smelly, and it looks white or light yellow, in the form of floccules, flakiness and solid powder. Insoluble in water while soluble in organic solvent and organic acids. Exhibits excellent film-forming property, oil resistance and chemical resistance. It can react with formaldehydes to form polyvinyl acetal. PVA 1492 by Liwei chemical (Sinochem) can produce protein fiber, special fiber by adding other substances into the original solution. PVA 1492 aqueous solution has very strong adhesive force to cellulose. Recommended for warp sizing & finishing, protective chemical-resistant gloves, textile industry and construction industry, etc.
