PVA 1498 by Liwei chemical (Sinochem) is non-ionic linear, polyvinyl alcohol high polymer grade. It is non-toxic, non-smelly, and it looks white or light yellow, in the form of floccules, flakiness and solid powder. Insoluble in water while soluble in organic solvent and organic acids. Exhibits excellent film-forming property, oil resistance and chemical resistance. It can react with formaldehydes to form polyvinyl acetal. PVA 1498 by Liwei chemical (Sinochem) is recommended for used as textile agent, synthetic vessels in flow testing, feminine hygiene & adult incontinence products as a plastic backing sheet and adhesive in coating construction and textile industry.
