Lucite® Diakon® CLG340

Lucite® Diakon® CLG340 by Lucite is a clear and odorless Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) grade. Possesses good dimensional stability, low water absorption, excellent melt flow and is easy to recycle. Shows high surface hardness and scratch resistance, similar to aluminium. Provides good rigidity, high optical quality, good UV resistance and high surface gloss. Exhibits good abrasion resistance, excellent weatherability and processability. Articles made from Lucite® Diakon® CLG340 are resistant, at temperatures up to 60°C, to dilute acids and most alkali solutions and at room temperature, to aqueous solutions of inorganic salts, aliphatic hydrocarbons, fats and oils and most of the common gases. Suitable for processing by injection molding. Used for thin wall moldings having large area or a long flow length. Lucite® Diakon® CLG340 applications include lighting, automotive rear lights, cosmetics packaging, optical lenses and medical diagnostic devices.
