Ingeo™ Biopolymer 6060D

Ingeo™ Biopolymer 6060D by NatureWorks is a polylactic acid (PLA). It is an amorphous thermoplastic fiber-grade resin derived primarily from annually renewable resources. It is designed for extrusion into mechanically drawn staple fibers using conventional fiber spinning and drawing equipment. Can be used as a low melt binder polymer in a sheath-core configuration. Ingeo™ Biopolymer 6060D is used in thermal bonded nonwovens.
