Ingeo™ Biopolymer 6361D

Ingeo™ Biopolymer 6361D by NatureWorks is a polylactic acid (PLA). It is a thermoplastic fiber-grade resin derived primarily from annually renewable resources. It is designed for specialty fiber products where an amorphous structure is desired. Ingeo™ Biopolymer 6361D can be converted into a broad range of fiber products. It is insoluble in water and FDA approved. It may be used in food packaging materials. Potential applications include low melt binder fibers/sheath, low melt coatings, dissolvable/sacrificial fiber components.
