Omniamid PA6 G

Omniamid PA6 G by Omnia Plastica is an amorphous, natural colored polyamide 6 cast grade produced by polymerization of the caprolactam directly in the mold. Provides stiffness, brittleness and toughness better than that of extruded PA6.

• Is self-lubricating, has low coefficient of friction, good tensile stress, compressive strength and is weatherproof with good resistance at low temperature.
• Exhibits good wear-, high fatigue-, ageing-, alkali-, inorganic compound and solvent resistance.
• Is suitable for processing by cast extrusion process.
• It is used in the mechanical field to produce large diameter gears, cams, pulleys, wheels, anti-wear guides, guide bearings and sliding bearings, building of parts for construction machines, excavators and earthmovers.
• Omniamid PA6 G complies with UL 94 V-2 flame rating.
