PLIOGRIP® P444 by Pliogrip Resins & Chemicals is a medium viscosity, unsaturated polyester grade with isopthalic acid as the chief polybasic acid constituent. Shows better mechanical, electrical and thermal properties with improved chemical resistance as compared to general-purpose orthophthalate polyester resin. Possesses excellent wetting properties of glass fibers (in the form of cloth, mat or chopped fiber) and produce composite laminates or moldings with superior mechanical & electrical resistance properties. PLIOGRIP® P444 exhibits excellent resistance to mineral, organic acids, solvents and oils. Used in the manufacture of glass reinforced chemical processing equipments, storage tanks, road tankers, boats, containers, railway wagons, building panels, swimming pools and fume extraction systems for use at ambient to moderately elevated temperatures.
