Pyramid™ CC100 PEEK

Pyramid™ CC100 PEEK by Polymics is a polyetheretherketone (PEEK) grade reinforced with 60 % chopped carbon fabric and tape. Possesses high mechanical strength & stiffness, fatigue & electrical properties that remain stable over a wide range of frequencies and temperature. Exhibits excellent performance at high temperatures, low moisture absorption, recyclability and low permeability. Provides creep & high wear resistance and excellent chemical resistance in environments that are corrosive, high temperature and/or high pressure. Offers excellent hydrolysis resistance in steam, water, brine environment and natural flame retardant composition. Is suitable for processing by injection and compression molding. Pyramid™ CC100 PEEK is used in fiber bundles, chopped tapes or other irregular chopped fiber forms. Also used as reinforced structural components such as medical instruments.
