Alkadyne® MD0898

Alkadyne® MD0898 is a PE80 MDPE co-polymer. It is a black, high molecular weight grade. It is suitable for extrusion into a full range of pipes, where service life to 100 years is required. Possesses excellent chemical resistance and slow crack growth resistance. Provides excellent resistance to the effects of ultra-violet light exposure in outdoor applications due to well dispersed carbon black. Used in pressure and non-pressure pipes, and in the transport of a wide range of fluids for industrial, rural and mining applications, including potable water. Complies with AS/NZS 4131 2010 for PE80 Type B pipe compounds and intended to be used in pipes conforming to AS/NZS 4130.
