RTP 109 eXtra Performance (XP)

RTP 109 eXtra Performance (XP) is a light density, chemical-resistant, non-hygroscopic polypropylene grade reinforced with 50% glass fiber. Exhibits strength, stiffness & impact resistance similar to that of VLF but higher strength, modulus & impact properties than standard chopped fiberglass PP. Also exhibits approximately 20% higher modulus values and twice the impact resistance than common glass fiber reinforced PP at similar load levels. Shows long term heat aging improvements. Moreover, it can be easily processed using injection molding. Suitable for lightweight applications. It can be used as an excellent alternative to nylon or other compounds. Possible applications for RTP 109 eXtra Performance (XP) include large structural tote bins, interior automotive trims, office furniture, construction panels, complex parts that can fit in the palm of hand, appliances, storage, industrial/construction, electronics, and energy markets.
