FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCA875 (Europe)

FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCA875 (Europe) by SABIC is a PFAS-free, flexible, unreinforced, low warpage, non-halogenated and flame retarded blend of polyphenylene ether (PPE) and thermoplastic elastomer (TPE). It is an impact resistant, non-chlorinated and non-brominated grade. It exhibits superior thermal & dimensional stability, very low water & moisture absorption, good electrical properties and low specific gravity. It offers hydrolytic stability, low creep sensitivity and good processability. It is used in electrical and electronic applications such as mobile phones, computers and tablets. FLEX NORYL™ Resin WCA875 (Europe) is suitable for processing by wire extrusion coating. It meets UL VW-1 requirements, 105°C end use temperature rating, and heat deformation performance as defined by UL 1581. It is intended for evaluation in wire insulation applications in dark colors. It is also suitable for thin walled applications and coating AWG26 & AWG28 copper conductors. Processing is typically conducted on standard extrusion equipment, and UL 1581 testing is conducted on 2.0mm wire with 0.12mm X 20 stranded copper conductor.
