LEXAN™ Resin FST9405 by SABIC is an amorphous, high flow, halogen-free, flame retardant polycarbonate (PC) copolymer grade available in opaque color. Exhibits high mechanical, optical, electrical and thermal properties. Offers good impact resistance, and outstanding dimensional stability. Is suitable for processing by injection molding. It is designed for molded-in-colors, including bright whites, which can help eliminate secondary processes such as painting. LEXAN™ Resin FST9405 is recommended for interior aircraft parts such as seatbacks, kink panels, seat trims, magazine holders, cockpit dashboard enclosures & components, partitions, luggage compartments and passenger service units. Complies with the OSU 55/55 and FAR25.583 regulations.
