ULTEM™ resin 4001 (Europe)

ULTEM™ resin 4001 (Europe) by SABIC is a flame retardant, amorphous polyetherimide (PEI) resin filled with PTFE. It offers good mechanical properties in a broad temperature range, high stiffness, hydrolytic stability, good dimensional stability, low smoke and toxicity. Exhibits low creep sensitivity, low shrinkage, good metal adhesion, high strength, good mold release. It is suitable for processing by injection molding. It shows chemical-, wear- and high heat resistance. ULTEM™ resin 4001 (Europe) is recommended for electrical devices & displays, beverage, personal accessory & recreation, home & commercial appliances, electronic material handling, electrical components & infrastructure. It is UL 94 V-0 & 5VA flame rated and ECO conforming.
