Schaetti fix 140 by Fixatti is a high performance low density polyethylene (LDPE) hot-melt adhesive powder. It is a solvent-free, low emission, environmentally-friendly grade. Exhibits high resistance to humidity and water. It has moderate melting point and offers good bond strength. Possesses the characteristic of melting when heated and allows various fabrics & material compounds to be bonded in a wide range of temperatures with no adverse effect and to be glued together safely and cleanly. Bonding is quicker, saves on riveting, welding or screwing, is more straightforward, is kinder on metal and lowers the weight of the vehicle. Suitable for non-wovens, needle punched, car body, carpet mats, door panels, side lining and sound absorbing elements. Schaetti fix 140 conforms to OekoTex standards.
