SELVOL™ 203S by Sekisui Chemical is a white to cream colored polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH or PVA) grade available in the form of granules. It is manufactured from vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) via a multistep process. Exhibits high tensile strength, excellent adhesive & bonding characteristics and ease of film formation. Offers solubility in hot water and excellent stability to sunlight. Provides resistance to greases, petroleum hydrocarbons, animal or vegetable oils and organic solvents. SELVOL™ 203S is recommended for paper applications such as protein replacement and optical brightener carrier, building products like joint cement, cement/ plaster additive, stucco finishes and peelable caulks & speciality films and ceramics applications.
