SELVOL™ 310 by Sekisui Chemical is an off-white colored, fully hydrolyzed polyvinyl alcohol (PVOH or PVA) grade available in the form of granules. It is manufactured from vinyl acetate monomer (VAM) via a multistep process. Exhibits high tensile strength, excellent adhesive & bonding characteristics and ease of film formation. Offers solubility in hot water and excellent stability to sunlight. Provides resistance to greases, petroleum hydrocarbons, animal or vegetable oils and organic solvents. SELVOL™ 310 is recommended for adhesive applications like envelope, tube winding, book binding, padding, solid fiber lamination, cup, cigarette fiber and carton/ case sealing, casting papers, flourchemical carrier, release & grease resistant papers, inkjet and creping & speciality films, ceramics and nonwovens.
