ECOTEK® SPL-ZHFR-6002XL

Technical Datasheet | Supplied by Shakun Polymers
ECOTEK® SPL-ZHFR-6002XL by Shakun Polymers is a silane grafted, non-halogen, low-smoke flame retardant compound. It consists of special thermoplastic polymers, inorganic filler and other additives. It is cross linkable and moisture curable by addition of a catalyst masterbatch. Cross linking is activated by heat and moisture after extrusion.
  • It shows good processing and physical properties.
  • It has good electrical properties and high thermal stress resistance.
  • The material contains metal deactivator and hence suitable for direct insulation on copper conductor.
  • Offers good abrasion resistance, excellent mechanical and electrical properties, long-term reliability, excellent flame retardancy as well as zero halogen acid gas generation.
  • It is a colorable compound with PE/EVA based masterbatch.
  • It can be processed by extrusion.
  • Recommended for sheathing / jacketing for insulation of power, signal and control cables.
  • Cables manufactured with ECOTEK® SPL-ZHFR-6002XL according to standard technology meet the following industrial cable specifications like BS 7211 & BS EN 50525-3-41 Type EI5 TO EN 50363-5 VDE 0207 / 23 HJ1, IEC 60092/351 HF 90, VDE 0250 / 503 HJ3.
  • It is compliant with RoHS.
