Amodel® AS-1145 HS

Amodel® AS-1145 HS by Solvay is a general purpose, heat stabilized, polyphthalamide (PPA) grade reinforced with 45% glass fiber. Exhibits good dimensional stability, low moisture absorption, good stiffness, high strength, resistance to chemicals, heat- and creep. Offers high tensile strength, high heat deflection temperature and high flexural modulus. Designed for processing by injection molding. Used in connectors, housing, industrial, machine/mechanical parts, lawn/garden equipments, metal replacement, valve parts, power/other tools and oil/gas applications. Suitable for molded parts with wall thicknesses greater than 0.125 in (3 mm) which provides excellent structural integrity, automotive industries like electronics, under the hood and fuel lines. Amodel® AS-1145 HS complies with RoHS, Automotive specifications and UL-94 flame rating. The grade is available in two forms Black: AS-1145 HS BK 324 and Natural: AS-1145 HS NT.
