Amodel® AS-1933 HS

Amodel® AS-1933 HS by Solvay is a heat stabilized polyphthalamide (PPA) grade reinforced with 33% glass fiber. It was developed specifically for improved performance in 50/50 ethylene glycol and water environment. Exhibits good dimensional stability, stiffness, high strength and good resistance to anti-freeze, glycol, chemicals, creep- & heat. Designed for processing by injection molding. Used in high performance automotive components exposed to high temperature anti-freeze solutions at 226°F (108°C). Potential applications include thermostat housings, heater core endcaps, heater hose connectors, water inlets, outlets, valves and under the hood applications. Other industries include meatal replacement, machine/mechanical parts, power/other tools, and thin-walled parts. Amodel® AS-1933 HS complies with RoHS and automotive specifications. The grade is available in Black: AS-1933 HSBK 324 form.
