AvaSpire® AV-742 SL30

AvaSpire® AV-742 SL30 is a black colored, flame retardant, polyaryletherketone (PAEK) grade reinforced with carbon fiber, graphite and PTFE lubricant. Exhibits better chemical resistance than PEEK grades, high mechanical strength, good dimensional stability, high heat resistance, good friction properties and good wear resistance. Provides high melt flow, low viscosity, long term thermal oxidative stability and high stiffness at elevated temperatures. It can be processed by injection molding, profile extrusion and machining. Recommended for automotive applications and is used in thin-walled parts, rollers, bushings, bearings, wear rings and wear strips.
