Halar® 5001C

Halar® 5001C is an ethylene chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer. Is suitable for processing by injection molding and extrusion. Possesses low viscosity, outstanding chemical resistance, low permeability, excellent weatherability, good abrasion resistance, excellent fire resistance properties, durability, purity and surface smoothness. Halar® ECTFE films exhibits significantly lower permeation rate to water vapor than ETFE, good release properties, UV stability and are optically clear with more than 90% transmission of light in the visible spectrum. Used in anti-corrosion applications such as a lining or in piping, tanks and other vessels, wire and cable applications, in communication cable or specialty cable, masterbatches, semiconductor or PV market for wet-tools constructions, microelectronics, chemical processing and pharmaceuticals.
