Hylar® 5000 by Solvay is a clean, high molecular weight, crystalline polyvinlylidene fluoride (PVDF) grade. Exhibits high purity, excellent flame resistance, good UV resistance, low to no odor, good weather resistance and high gloss. Offers good strength, resistance to gamma radiation, and good toughness. Is designed for processing by coating method. Hylar® 5000 is suitable for solvent-based coatings and films that have broad useful temperature range.
