KetaSpire® KT-820 by Solvay is a lubricated, low flow unreinforced polyetheretherketone (PEEK) grade. Available as two grades KT-820 BK 95 (Black colored) and KT-820 NT (Natural colored). Offers excellent wear resistance, ductility, fatigue resistance and flame retardance. Sterilizable by steam, radiation, heat, autoclave, E-beam and ethylene oxide methods. Exhibits good chemical resistance, good dimensional stability, good impact resistance, high heat resistance, radiation (gamma) resistance, radiotranslucence and steam resistance. It can be processed using injection molding, machining, extrusion blow molding, wire & cables extrusion or profile extrusion and thermoforming. These properties make it well-suited for applications in medical/healthcare, transportation, dental, electronics, aircraft, chemical processing, housing, medical devices, gears, pump parts, seals, tubing and other industrial uses. KetaSpire®KT-820 complies with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) and ISO (international organization for standardization).
