Polidan® EC/MD

Polidan® EC/MD by Padanaplast is a crosslinkable polyethylene (XLPE) resin. It consists of a silane pregrafted base compound (Siloplas® method) to be used with catalyst masterbatch. It possesses medium density, low toxicity and high electrical & insulation properties. This grade is curable by exposure to ambient moisture and is potable water approved. It can withstand high or low working temperatures and possesses hydrolysis resistance. It is designed for processing by extrusion. Polidan® EC/MD is used in wire & cable applications such as low and medium voltage power cable insulation. It complies with RoHS regulations.
