Radel® R-5100

Radel® R-5100 by Syensqo is a filler-reinforced grade of polyphenylsulfone (PPSU). It is opaque, autoclavable, general use, radiotranslucent, flame retardant, and biocompatible. It comes in a variety of colors, including light beige, black, red, grey, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet. It has strong environmental stress crack resistance, strong electrical characteristics, good chemical resistance, and strong heat resistance. It offers ultra-high toughness, E-beam sterilizability, ethylene oxide sterilizability, strong thermal stability, heat sterilizability, resistance to acids, bases, gamma radiation, and steam. It also gives resistance to radiation, steam, gamma radiation, and steam. It can be processed via thermoforming, sheet film & profile extrusion, injection molding, extrusion, blow molding, and machining. Applications for Radel® R-5100 include membranes, surgical instruments, plumbing components, connectors, healthcare applications, hospital products, medical devices, dental applications, and applications in the field of aviation and aerospace.
