Ixef® HC-1022 BK000 by Solvay is a biocompatible, radiotranslucent, general-purpose polyarylamide (PARA) grade reinforced with 50% glass fiber. Provides high strength, ultra high stiffness and low moisture absorption. Offers high surface finish, rigidity, high gloss, flow and good dimensional stability. Exhibits resistance to chemical, creep and radiation (gamma). It is sterilized by e-beam, ethylene oxide and radiation. Recommended for dental, hospital goods, medical devices and surgical instruments. Also used for orthopaedics, wearable devices, surgical cases and trays. Ixef® HC-1022 BK000 is designed for processing by injection molding. Complies with RoHS and ISO 10993 regulations.
